Here you can browse subjects and topics and find the classification numbers related to your interests. You can then search the reading room or the stacks upstairs to see if there is any material of interest to you. Always remember that there is more material in the attic! Don't hesitate to ask one of the librarians to have a peek there. You can also browse Libis on 'shelf number' to see what is available in our library.
All registered Korean holdings can be found in Limo (central catalogue). The remainder is still only accessible through the card-index, or by browsing the open shelves.
NOTE:
This section of the library is not a Korean (language) general library and should only hold material on Korean studies. Materials on China are therefore placed in the China studies section, those on Japan in the Japanese section and materials on other countries can be found in other libraries and sections specific to that country or subject. Some materials in the Korean language on non-Korean related subject can be found here, because general and specific libraries may lack the knowledge to classify these books.
